The same survey showed that 28% of the users will abandon an e-commerce website if they find surprise shipping fees at checkout. You must clearly state the shipping charges before checkout. It is clearly OK to charge your users with shipping fee. But you have to upfront those charges at the start of the buying process.

Do Not Take Online Reviews for Granted:

The survey also showed that 55% of the total users were influenced by the online reviews and their decision was changed if they found bad ones. The key point is not to underestimate the online reviews. If there are a lot of bad reviews on your website, you need to re-think about your marketing strategy. If the reviews show that your previous customers are satisfied with your services, then it will influence the buying decision of the new users.
