Google Introduced Four New Machine Learning APIs!: Google is particularly focusing to improve the ability of the developers. They have made it possible by merging the machine learning technology into their apps, with the four new APIs announcement in its ML Kit.
“We see strong engagement from users who use these features and as we are extending ML Kit with more APIs, we see this engagement accelerating,” said Christiaan Prins, a product manager at Google.
In response to the feedback of the developer, the company has launched the new APIs, that are based on three core themes, with the help of UX, APIs and greater customizability.
ML Kit targets to ensure the provision of real-time search experience by availing the new Object Detection and Tracking API, that are used to track the coordinates of the object as well as classification only when it is paired with a cloud solution.
Google’s Translation API
Google’s Translation API runs on-device now, meaning you can dynamically avail the translation facility even if you are offline. The company claims that you can also use it to communicate with the user that do not speak the language similar to you.
The users can easily create custom image classification models from the AutoML Vision Edge API that operates on user’s devices locally. It is really beneficial when the app requires classification under different animals, food and to sort them. Google has explained everything related to it in detail.

The company has worked in close collaboration with the Material Design team to introduce a new design pattern for the ML applications. These patterns have been kept open sourced and can be easily accessed at Material.io website.
